• Eby struck a deal with the shíshálh Nation granting influence over 1.2 million acres of public land.

• That group represents just 1,700 people—about the size of a small town.

• Another deal with the Tŝilhqot’in Nation gives them consent authority over 740,000 acres in the Teẑtan area… even though most of that land lies outside their legal title zone.

These aren’t symbolic gestures—they’re legally binding arrangements that shift real power away from the public and toward unaccountable governance structures.

Eby Talks Tough to Trump. But What About British Columbians?

While Premier Eby barks at American politicians and tries to sound like a nationalist, he’s quietly surrendering Canadian sovereignty at home:

• No provincial vote.

• No legislative review.

• No democratic safeguards.

All of this is sold as “reconciliation,” but it looks a lot more like abdication—a Premier outsourcing authority over resources, development, and public lands to groups outside the democratic system.

Where Are Carney and Guilbeault?

• Mark Carney is silent, despite promising national development.

• Steven Guilbeault is cheering—no surprise there.

• And David Eby? He’s not on Team Canada.

He’s building a parallel governance system, one that has no public mandate, no electoral accountability, and no clarity on who really makes the decisions.
